So even though i eat super healthy, my brother is the complete opposite, like you wouldn’t even believe it! He can drink a 2L bottle of pepsi in one day and still want more. He buys medium chips almost every day and loves cookies and cream ice cream, but never goes to the gym, or even for a walk.
Now, to get to my point, he collects all of this unhealthy stuff and keeps it in the house, and even though i am never tempted to have any, i sometimes snoop around the kitchen for a snack, and sometimes it can be a difficult decision, especially if we are out of fruits/veggies/chicken or cottage cheese. So what i decided to do, was always make sure there is a healthy option placed next to my brothers unhealthy option.
So if there was Pepsi, id put carbonated water next to it.
Ice cream: frozen berries/grapes or even a frozen banana to make the ice cream
Crisps: pickles/ cucumbers
Pasta: zucchini strips or miracle noodles/shirataki noodles
And you wouldn’t believe how much this works, you just automatically want the healthier option and feel really good about it too!
So you don’t always have to pick the bad option and feel guilty later, just put a healthier option next to it (:
