Fitness junkie + Lazy ass teenager = Me. Welcome to my world

niiicethings:

“Noun is a playful artist’s book about words and their definitions. It is like an exquisite corpse with words.

Starting with 27 real English words, each word and its definition has been divided into two parts. By turning the pages, you get to mix and match the word halves to create humorous and nonsensical new words and meanings.

With over 700 different combinations, this book is the perfect item for bibiophiles, lexicographers, writers, and any lover of words.

Here are a few examples of words and definitions you can put together:

whisper + umbrella = whisbrella: A low sibilan utterance for sheltering one from rain and sun.
banana + onomatopoeia = bananpoeia: A large herbaceous perennial tropical plant that bears fruit imitating the sound of the thing or action signified.
muffin + tyrant = muffrant: A quick bread made of batter unrestrained by law or constitution.
nomenclature + ancestry = nomencestry: A system or set of names for things derived from, or possessed by, an ancestor or ancestors.”

wow

The body is an amazing thing. It represents sexuality, art, pleasure, home and is all sorts of attractive. I don’t understand why the whole world sees a naked body as something rather taboo in a situation other than the bedroom. Everyone has one, and there is nothing more natural than a body (untouched of plastic surgery) and we are told to hide it and keep it covered. We even get told told that if something is not a certain length of shape, it is “weird and strange” and now im not saying people should be strolling around naked, but everyone should embrace themselves and not think of themselves as horrible or disgusting because of how society has shaped our minds. I need to start believing in that, and so should everyone else.

So after a 2 hour discussion with my parents and bro last night, my brother and i finally convinced them that the reason i have gained weight is not from diet or lack of exercise (i exercise at a very high intensity and almost every day and eat clean so it sucked to have someone think it was because of that) and i went to my doctor yesterday, and he confirmed what i told them. So now he is also looking at cortisol levels. So its a relief that now my doctor is really trying to help me out now, because i am so sick of living like this. ahhhh.

rant over

*the photo will sneakily attract your attention

So yesterday i went to the endocrinologist (to check up on my thyroid) and i mainly went there because no matter what i do, i keep gaining weight. In the past i have managed to lose over 23kgs, and keep it off, but at the beginning of this year, it just keeps piling on. Ive increased my workouts, changed it all up, played with the intensity, increased my caloric intake, decreased my caloric intake, eating under 800 calories even (just to see if ANYTHING would work to be able to lose weight) and no. nothing has worked. My endo just said to increase my thyroxine slightly and he wants me to start this thing called “Opti fast” which i am not keen on at all.

What it basically is, is that for like 3 months all you can intake are like 3 shakes a day that average out to around 800-900 calories, which i think is absolute bullshit.
Being a personal trainer, and knowing the side affects first hand of eating abnormally and so little, i was very suspicious when he recommended that. I want to be healthy, not constantly having to worry about what i have to eat.

And its just so annoying, no one believes me when i say i eat well, and i have tried everything, and i completely blame my thyroid. not even my parents. uhhh

i miss the way i used to look.
